April 01, 2024. Hamilton police department and Ravalli County Sheriffs Office responded to reports of armed robbery April the first 2024. Hamilton Police Chief Steve Snavely and Ravalli County Sheriff and Coroner Steve Holton confirmed that a Hamilton Police Officer shot and killed the suspect of an attempted armed robbery at a Hamilton gas station on Monday afternoon.
